It’s Time to Celebrate!

Happy holidays to everyone in the United States and Canada! The first few days of July are always extra special because of two major historical days in each nation.
 
First up is Canada Day on July 1 to commemorate the same day in 1867 when the country became a self-governing nation. Likewise, in the United States, the Fourth of July is celebrated each year to mark the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the birth of a sovereign country.

In both countries, the occasions, which include parades, fireworks and picnics, were born of a desire to enjoy freedom and independence. Like the forefathers of both nations, we still seek to be free to enjoy the rewards of life.
